The road trip continues! Today we went to Devils Tower in Devils Tower, Wy. What a beautiful site! Pictures don’t do any of these great places justice but I’ll share some of our favorites. The girls earned a Jr.Ranger Badge today. Devils Tower offers a virtual Jr.Ranger Badgeif you are interested in helping your kiddos earn their badges without leaving the comfort of your couch! We packed our lunch today!
After lunch we set off on our “hike”. Hike is used very loosely as it was a paved trail that went all the way around the base of the monument. We saw many people climbing (legally) on the tower and took in some pretty magnificent views. We did climb a bit ourselves, and Lyndie says no one says we have to climb to the top to say we climbed Devils Tower- and she’s not wrong.

After spending the late morning and early afternoon in Wyoming we headed back to Rapid City but not before taking a small detour for ice cream and drive thru famous Sturgis, SD. We also surprised the girls today that we were changing our trip a little and are going to drop down to Colorado and visit with their cousins- stay tuned!
