We started November off with some hiking at Glen Helen
After hiking, we had to go to Young’s for some ice cream and to feed the poor underfed (haha) goats, because no trip to Yellow Springs is complete with at a stop at Young’s.
We spent most of November just hanging out with friends and prepping for Christmas, we had many play dates, played hours of magnet tiles ( Picasso brand- i highly highly highly recommend)
We celebrated Thanksgiving with Nanna and Papa, Aunt Katie and Uncle Joe for lunch and then we went to the cemetery like we always do on Thanksgiving to visit with Grandpa Gene and Granny Grace, we also stop and see Great Aunt Linda, David, and Great Grandma and Grandpa Auckerman. Every year the girls ask a few more questions about those that are no longer with us, but we never forget them.
After our visit to the cemetery we headed to Ninny and Baba’s house. Uncle Bub had called Ninny to say he wasn’t going to make it, something happened to their car and they had to turn around and go back home- we were pretty bummed about that.
However, just as luck would have it, I got a text message from Uncle Bub a bit later stating that they were actually on their way but to keep it a secret from Ninny. Ninny was so surprised. We had a good visit with Bub and Serena.
We rounded out November with more Christmas shopping and decorating.
