December came and went with lots of holiday activities and time spent with family and friends.
One of the biggest highlights of December was the purchase of this beauty and yes I’m already planning our first trip.
We decorated our house for Christmas, yes thats a Christmas Unicorn.
We also took our very first, but definitely not our last, to Great Wolf Lodge in Mason. I mean who doesn’t love a nice warm indoor waterpark in December in Ohio??
Of course our Morning riser was up before everyone so we went down to kid yoga (thats her in the pink pants and blue dress)
Fun in the Wave Pool!
Look at all that area for fun.
The girls picked out these but matching santa outfits. They hardly let me dress them alike anymore so when they do it has to be documented.
The second drive thru light show. Notice our 2 guests? Thats Buddy and snowflake, they are pets that belong to our elves that they brought down to us to babysit and train during the busiest time at the North Pole.
The girls colored many many many pictures this holiday season and instead of buying holiday cards we decided to send these out to family and friends. We had a great response from people about how much they loved the home made cards. All of our images came from this cool website.
Trinity decided to make no sew blankets for all of her grandparents as Christmas gifts, here she is working on the one for her Nanna (Matts mom)
No Holiday season is complete without a trip to see the Zoo Lights at The Columbus Zoo. The girls loved riding those adorable camels.
One night we went for a drive to all the covered bridges in Union County and found a few that were decorated with lights. Yes Ninny made these hats.
Ninny and I went shopping ALL day, she wanted her picture taken with the red ball outside of Target just like the girls do when i take them.
The girls and I went on the elf hunt in Dublin, we had a great time!
We even had time to have a mini photo shoot.
No December is complete without a visit to Santa! Cousins Parker and Tanner went with us too, and then we went to Marions Pizza for dinner. We absolutely love the Santa at Town and Country in Kettering and the best part is that its FREE, just remember to bring your camera.
We were also fortunate enough to spend an entire day with our friends on a “mystery tour” of Downtown Columbus. We really enjoyed the Van Gogh exhibit at The Columbus Museum of Art.
We ended our day at The Franklin Park Conservatory, the girls really enjoyed this “ice skater” and of course the kettle corn.
We had matching Jammies 🙂
Matt and I enjoyed a quite night at home for New Years Eve and the girls had a party with Ninny and Baba as is their tradition.
