We’ll you’ve already read (if you are reading these in order about our epic flyover states trip from September to beginning of October) but there are just a few things that happened before our trip.
We started off Labor Day at the festival in West Liberty.
Unfortunately Labor Day ended a little ok a lot differently then we had hoped. 2.0 aka Mo aka Lyndie wrecked her scooter and broke her arm. She was such a trooper thru it all, after the initial break she cried and came in to put some ice on it and said she was feeling better and went back out to play about 40 minutes later she tried pushing herself up off the ground and said it really hurt bad. Swelling instantly got worse and I called a neighbor who happens to be a pediatric nurse to ask for advise and she said definitely get X-rays so off we went to Urgent Care. We had the best experience anyone could hope for with low wait times and friendly staff.
Don’t worry that broke arm didn’t slow us down much, 2 days later we went to The Wilds.
And we followed that up with a trip to Roscoe Village for their homeschool days, and we even got to take a horse drawn canal boat ride.
Trinity Turns 9!
After her celebration we left for our epic road trip!
