We started August off by taking the girls to Virgina Beach. We had a great time exploring the beach shops, went on a dolphin cruise and unfortunately visited the local urgent care for stitches for Daddy- I promise no pictures of his awful wound!

Lyndie had her performance of Aladdin.

We went to a friends birthday party and they were so kind to share their water toys. Lyndie took to this paddle board like it was her job.

Snow in August- We have been having so much fun and doing and going to so many cool places that we all needed a day of rest so we conjured up an idea for a snow day. We pretended that we got 6ft of snow and that we were all snowed in for the day. We stayed in pajamas and had a great day! The girls got a big kick out of this and i highly recommend anyone needing a day to reset to have a snow day no matter the weather. Stay in your pajamas, eat all the good yummy foods (its a day not a lifestyle), soak in all of those kid snuggles because soon they won’t want to spend their days with their parents.

We visited the Ohio History center with friends (no pics to share), We went the Garst Museum and enjoyed the whole thing but specifically the Annie Oakley portion. We also gave the girls their first (probably only) Maid-Rite sandwiches and then we hit up the Great Darke County Fair.

We finally made it to COSI before the King Tut exhibit left, I have no pics of the exhibit because I took Lyndie to explore other areas while Matt and T took their time in the King Tut exhibit,

We went camping with my Brother and his crew! We love camping with the cousins.  I think our favorite part was the epic water gun/bucket fights.

We had our annual “not back to school day”
