April started off great, both girls took a clay sculpting class!

We took advantage of a unseasonable warm early April day and went to Yellow Springs and Young’s!

We decorated for Easter, Can you believe those silly elves came for a Easter visit??   Little did we know that just a few short hours after EB left we would find out on our way to visit family that Great Aunt Robin had died earlier in the morning.

Great Aunt Robin lived in Wisconsin with Great Aunt Terri, so Trinity , Ninny and I loaded up the car to make the long road trip to Wisconsin. Lyndie didn’t want to go.  It was a sad reason to go but we tried to make the best of it. Ninny hadn’t been in a hotel in more then 20 years, she wasn’t sure she’d be able to ride that long in the car (especially with me driving haha) but she did AMAZING! This is one road trip we won’t forget for many reasons.

We spent the weekend camping, in Cincinnati. We stayed at the KOA in Batesville Indiana- it was ok- we probably would not stay here again.

We went to the homeschool convention- thats always a lot of fun. We took the girls to their first, but definetly not last trip to the Cincinnati Zoo, we all enjoyed the hippos, especially Fiona and baby Fritz.

We also took the girls to their first Monster Jam monster truck show, they had a blast, our only complaint was it was FREEZING inside- next time we will dress much warmer.

No trip to the Greater Cincy area is complete without meeting up with Uncle Bub!

Trinity got a DOG!!!! Well kind of, the dog lives with Ninny and Baba because we aren’t allowed to have pets but she picked out the pup, named it and we visit her as often as we can. Introducing Lucky Lady!

We went camping at Indian Lake and had some special surprise visitors.
