Today started off like any normal day, Lyndie and I up and at it before the other two even got out of bed. It was nice to have some 1:1 time with her during breakfast.

After we finally got everyone up and fed we headed off to the Kentucky Science Center.

The kids had a good time but rank it low on list of museums that we’ve been too, it’s saving grace was definitely the Who Forted? Exhibit. After a long morning of playing hard we had some lunch at Subway which is conveniently located right next door to the science museum. Once our bellies were full we headed to The Frazier Museum

We were definitely impressed with “y’all”’s misusing. An absolutely beautiful museum with lots of great exhibits.

After leaving the museum we headed back to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory because we promised the girls we’d come back so they could do their pressed penny machine since we forgot change to do it yesterday. While we were there we also found the “big glove”.

While walking back to the car we came across this statue of David

Thankful for traffic lights for providing the censoring 🤣😂

You would think that would be enough for one day but we had one more surprise for the kiddos today and that was Lights under Louisville. A huge thanks to our friend,Christen, for telling us about it.

It was definitely an interesting experience being underground at a Christmas light display.

Once we got back above ground we parked the car and headed BACK underground this time on foot to check out the gift shop and see what else the Mega Cavern had to offer, unfortunately we were too late to partake in any of the adventures but we were able to do some gem stone mining .

We rounded out the day with dinner at Mark’s Feed Store, also recommended by Christen. Matt reports his dinner was “ok, not the best and not the worst”, Trinity didn’t like the bbq sauce and they were out of corndogs so Lyndie settled on a grilled cheese, my meal was fine. Lucky for us Tuesday is kids eat free day.

One more day of adventure tomorrow!
