Some friends invited us to join them in Chicago to kick off their amazing road trip, let me take you back and share our trip now since for some reason I didn’t blog it then- we were probably to busy walking 500 miles.

We arrived to our hotel in the Theatre district mid afternoon and was able to get an early check in and we all took a little nap, before heading out to explore.

We didn’t meet up with our friends until day 2, so we decided today would be the perfect dance to check out “Magnificent Mile” we saw some cool things along the way.

Can’t forget our “what are they wearing?” Outfits. Anytime we venture to places with large crowds we take a picture because I hope we never need it but if so I’ll have it.

We decided to surprise the girls by finally letting them get an American Girl Doll and what a better time to do that?

The rest of the day was spent relaxing at the hotel and playing with their new dolls.
